- How a simple trick can predict toddler‘s academic future?
- How toddler emotion should be trained early?
- Do you train your baby early for better academic performance?
In a study, researchers measures 558 20-month-old toddler’s ability to wait before picking up a raisin placed under an opaque cup after some training.
The researchers discovered that babies born prematurely were more likely to take the raisin before the designated time.
Further analysis revealed that those toddlers who couldn’t inhibit their behavior were not performing as well academically as their full-term peers seven years later.
The researchers believe that early identification of cognitive issues could lead to tailored interventions to help prevent underachievement in school and adulthood.
